Message	AIV - Air Induction Valves, blend fresh air into the exhaust for cleaner emissions. Deleted by Nissan in 1993 EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve, increases fuel economy and reduces emissions by recirculating unspent exhaust gas into the intake. Removing makes plenum pulls 10.43x easier. Carbon Canister - Unsure really, but I think it traps fuel vapor and returns it to the gas tank. Don't quote me on that. You can find all your answers in the FAQ on the site. Pages -> FAQ. The main reason for deleting all that stuff is reductions in vacuum lines, weight savings and cleanliness.
